Atlanta Braves
The Atlanta Braves were founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1871.
The professional baseball team now based in Atlanta, Georgia is one of the National League's two remaining charter franchises. They were based in Boston until moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1953 and to Atlanta in 1965. Atlanta Braves is the team's 10th different name.
