Chicago Fire is a professional soccer team from the US competing in Major League Soccer (MLS).
The club was founded on October 8, 1997 and is based in Bridgeview, Illinois near Chicago.
Playing their first MLS season in 1998, the Chicago Fire won the MLS Cup and the U.S. Open Cup. The team won the U.S. Open Cup in 2000, 2003 and 2006 again.
