Club Deportivo Chivas USA
Club Deportivo Chivas USA (or: CD Chivas USA, Chivas USA) is a pro soccer team from Carson, California. The club was established in 2004 and competes in Major League Soccer (MLS). It's the only Mexican-owned team in major professional sports in the US.
In 2007, they finished as the MLS Western Conference Champions, but lost their Conference semis against the Kansas City Wizards.
Among notable current players is former Swiss international Raphaël Wicky.
