Colorado Rapids
The Colorado Rapids are an US soccer team from Commerce City, Colorado. The club was founded in 1995 and participates in Major League Soccer (MLS).
In 2007, Colorado has entered a partnership with the English Premier League club FC Arsenal with the intention to build the Arsenal brand in the US, to support grassroots football there and to improve the quality of the Rapids’ football.
Among notable former players are 58-time Swedish international Anders Limpar (1999-2000) and Colombian enfant terrible Carlos Valderrama (2002-2004).
