US Open, Round 4
Four Americans in the quarterfinals.
Andy Roddick was the last of four US-American to reach the quarterfinal with an easy win against 11th seed Fernando Gonzalez from Chile, while Mardy Fish beat Gaël Monfils from France.
Both US-boys face strong opponents now: Roddick has to play against Serbian 3rd seed Novak Djokovic. Fish meets the Spanish World No. 1 Rafael Nadal.
One US-American will be ousted in the next round of the women's event for sure, as the Williams-sisters Venus and Serena face each other in the quarterfinals.
