Real Salt Lake
The Real Salt Lake is a pro soccer club from Salt Lake City, Utah (USA). They were founded in 2004 and play in Major League Soccer (MLS) since 2005.
In September 2006, Real Salt Lake and Real Madrid from Spain have signed a 10-year co-operative agreement which includes among others the construction of a US-$ 25 million elite youth academy in Salt Lake City, up to 200 players from ages 12 to 18 will be trained.
Among notable current or former players are US internationals Freddy Adu, Clint Mathis and Eddie Pope.
