Saša Vujačić

Aleksandar "Saša" Vujačić (or: Sasha Vujacic) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. He was born on March 8, 1984 in Maribor, (Slovenia).

Vujačić started his professional career at Snaidero Udine (Italy) at the age of 16 and was a member of the Slovenian Junior National Team. Since 2004, he plays for the [Los Angeles Lakers]] and is known for his troublesome defense and excellent three-point shooting skills.

In Europe, Vujačić had been mainly playing the point guard spot, but in the Lakers’ triangle offense has found more playing time at the shooting guard position over the past years.

Saša’s father Vaso Vujačić is a basketball coach in Montenegro.
