Tennis Masters Cup 2008

With the ATP Tennis Masters Cup 2008, the men's tennis season's finals were held in Shanghai (China) for the 5th time after 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007. The Qi Zhong Stadium was the venue from November 4 until 9.

The eight singles players and the eight doubles pairings with the highest total of points over the whole 2008 season qualified for the ATP Tennis Masters Cup.

The singles and the doubles competition both start as round robin events, with four players/teams in each of the two groups (red group and golden group). Each player/team faces the other three players/teams in their group. The top two in each pool reach the semifinals. The semifinal winners meet in the finals.
