Terry Porter
Terry Porter (*April 8, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) is an US-American head coach in the NBA, currently employed by the Phoenix Suns since June 9, 2008, where he succeeded Mike D’Antoni.

He is a former pro basketball player, starting his career at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and then playing in the NBA as a guard for 17 years. From 1985 until 1995, Porter played for the Portland Trail Blazers, from 1996 until 1998 for the Minnesota Timberwolves and from 1998 until 1999 for the Miami Heat. In 2002, he finished his career at the San Antonio Spurs, the team he had played for since 1999.
Only one year later, Porter started his coaching career as a head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, after having spent the 2002-03 season as an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings.
He left Milwaukee after two years and took a year of the sports. For the 2006-07 season, Porter was then hired by the Detroit Pistons as an assistant coach.
