Tim Duncan
Tim Duncan is the star power forward of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs. Nicknamed "The Big Fundamental" for his fundamentally sound, yet not very flashy style of play, Tim Duncan has led the Spurs to four titles (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007), winning the Finals MVP three times (1999, 2003, 2005).
Since joining the Spurs as the No.1 pick in the draft after a four-year career at Wake Forest, Tim Duncan has been arguably the most complete and steady player on both ends of the floor. He rebounds, blocks and alters shots, hits elbow jumpers, goes to the hoop and directs part of his team's offense from the block.
Tim Duncan was voted to the All-NBA First Team nine times and won the MVP award twice (2002, 2003). He is also on the roster of Team USA. This year, together with the international duo of Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, Duncan hopes to disprove the notion that San Antonio can only win a title in uneven years.
